Seventh, entering non-duality: this means that seeing duality between the dust mote and the mind is such that duality is non-duality. If one clings to the dust mote and the mind as one, this is negated by saying they are not one, because what is seen by the deluded mind is not without conditions. If one clings to the dust mote and the mind as two, this is negated by saying they are not two, because apart from the mind there is no distinct dust mote. Since mind and dust mote being two is non-duality, and the mind alone has no essence, oneness is also non-oneness. Because oneness is non-oneness and duality is non-duality, when oneness and duality manifest unobstructed before one, one then enters non-duality. As the sūtra says: "In non-dual wisdom, / the lion among men emerges. / Not clinging to the phenomena of oneness or duality, / because he knows there is neither oneness nor duality."
