1.88

以理奪事而事亡，即真理非事也；以事奪理而理亡，即事法非理也。亦同行願疏中形奪無寄門。

When principle negates phenomena and phenomena vanish, true principle is not phenomena; when phenomena negate principle and principle vanishes, phenomenal dharmas are not principle. This is also like the gate of mutual negation leaving nothing based upon in the Commentary on the Practice and Vow.
