謂萬法無體，假緣成立，若無因緣，法即不生。故經云：「諸法從緣起，無緣即不起。」
This means that the myriad dharmas lack inherent essence and are established provisionally through conditions; if causes and conditions are lacking, the dharma does not arise. Therefore the sutra says: 'All dharmas arise from conditions; without conditions, they do not arise.'
