復有那師文義共遍，通達一代所說之經法否？設有通達一代，立五教、判聖教，超先代否？設有判教超他德、說道超世教，化同佛否？設有說道超他，入經藏對三藏勝論議人否？設有對三藏論議人，有傳教教人得教外益否？設有令得教外益，從口現出五光人否？設有出光人，所出光變成寶蓋否？設有光成寶蓋，舉世號小釋迦否？設有號小釋迦，入王宮為御見拜否？設有為王被拜，為皇后見拜，并為皇后說經典否？設有為皇后被拜，及立寺塔被歸依，現身不易生，昇都率否？設有登都率，門徒繁昌六國，所流之法不斷絕，于今盛否（矣）？

Furthermore, is there any master whose text and meaning were equally pervasive, completely penetrating the sutras and dharmas spoken throughout the Buddha's lifetime? Even if he penetrated the whole lifetime, did he establish the Five Teachings, classify the sacred teachings, and surpass previous generations? Even if his doctrinal classification surpassed the virtue of others and his exposition of the Way surpassed worldly teachings, did his transformation equal that of the Buddha? Even if his exposition of the Way surpassed others, did he enter the scriptural repository and triumph over debaters in the presence of Tripiṭaka masters? Even if he debated before Tripiṭaka masters, did he transmit the teaching and cause people to attain benefits beyond the teaching? Even if he caused them to attain benefits beyond the teaching, was he a person from whose mouth five-colored light manifested? Even if he was a person who emitted light, did the emitted light transform into a jeweled canopy? Even if the light became a jeweled canopy, did the entire world call him 'Little Śākya'? Even if he was called 'Little Śākya', did he enter the royal palace and receive prostrations from the sovereign? Even if he received prostrations from the king, was he bowed to by the Empress, and did he expound the scriptures for the Empress? Even if he was bowed to by the Empress, established monasteries and stupas, and was taken refuge in, did he, without changing his present body, ascend to Tuṣita? Even if he ascended to Tuṣita, did his disciples flourish in six states, and does the Dharma he transmitted continue unbroken, flourishing to this day?
