真空無形，假色相以明。法本亡言，就言詮而顯道。故清涼云：「雖空空絕迹，而義天星像璨然。」
True emptiness has no form; it is clarified provisionally by means of form and marks. Dharmas fundamentally transcend speech; they reveal the Way by relying on verbal explications. Therefore Qingliang says: 'Although emptiness upon emptiness obliterates all traces, the stars and images in the sky of meaning shine brightly.'
