第二、大乘始教者，謂此師子緣生之法各無自性，徹底唯空，故名大乘始教。

Second, the Initial Teaching of the Mahāyāna: it holds that the dependently originated dharmas of this lion each have no self-nature, being completely and utterly empty; therefore it is called the Initial Teaching of the Mahāyāna.
