1.307

一一事皆如理，故融通也。謂若唯約事，即彼此相礙；若唯約理，即無可相礙，亦無可遍容。今以事如理融，故有十門無礙。

Each single phenomenon is like principle, therefore they fuse and penetrate. If one were to consider solely phenomena, they would obstruct each other; if one were to consider solely principle, there would be nothing to obstruct each other, nor would there be anything to pervade and contain. Now, because phenomena fuse as principle [fuses], there are the ten gates of non-obstruction.
