真理即與一切千差萬別之事俱時歷然顯現，如耳目所對境也。亦如芥缾，亦如真金。為佛菩薩比丘及六道眾生形像之時，與諸像一時顯現，無分毫之隱，亦無分毫不像。今理性亦爾，無分毫隱，亦無分毫不事。不同真空觀及以理奪事門中唯是理現也。故次云。

True principle and all the myriad diverse phenomena manifest distinctly at the same time, like the objects facing the ears and eyes. It is also like a mustard vase, and like true gold. When it becomes images of Buddhas, bodhisattvas, bhikṣus, and sentient beings of the six paths, it manifests simultaneously with these various images, without the slightest concealment, nor the slightest failure to resemble the image. Now the nature of principle is also like this: without the slightest concealment, and without the slightest failure to be phenomenal. It is not like the contemplation of true emptiness or the gate of principle subduing phenomena, in which it is solely principle that manifests. Hence, he next says:
