如東鏡攝餘八鏡帶之將入西鏡中時，即東鏡為能攝能入，八鏡為所攝，西鏡為所入也。則一佛攝一切佛、一切眾生帶之同入一眾生中。都以九鏡及一切佛為能亦得。

As when the eastern mirror subsumes the other eight mirrors and carries them along to enter into the western mirror: the eastern mirror is the subsuming and entering subject, the eight mirrors are the subsumed objects, and the western mirror is the entered object. Then one Buddha subsumes all Buddhas and all sentient beings, carrying them along together to enter into a single sentient being. Taking all nine mirrors and all Buddhas as the active subjects is also entirely permissible.
