泥牛哮吼，誰是知音？然則大經圓音，若霹靂震於乾坤；無聲之聲，似泥人推倒華亭。這般穿鑿，一場好笑。且道如何是此一卷經？大師云。
The mud ox roars—who recognizes the tune? And yet, the round sound of the Great Scripture is like a thunderbolt shaking heaven and earth; the soundless sound is like a mud figure pushing over the Flower Pavilion. Such far-fetched interpretations are quite laughable. Tell me: what is this one scroll of scripture? The Great Master says:
