諦觀法王法，法王法如是。此頌無依者，揀去斷實依他境也。無用者，亡二執遍計情用也。法王者，三界依正所歸之主也。今正結顯緣幻色會歸真空之理也，明證此理是法空之王矣。若明空即色觀中獨王三界，故曰法王，次當辨矣。

Carefully contemplate the Dharma of the Dharma King;
The Dharma of the Dharma King is like this.
This verse: "No reliance" selects out and eliminates the severed and real paratantra objects. "No functioning" extinguishes the parikalpita sentimental functioning of the two attachments. The "Dharma King" is the lord to which the circumstantial and direct retributions of the three realms return. Now it properly concludes by revealing the principle of tracing illusory form to its return in true emptiness; clearly witnessing this principle is to be the King of Dharma Emptiness. If one clarifies that in the contemplation of emptiness being identical to form, it alone rules as king in the three realms, it is therefore called the Dharma King, which will be distinguished next.
