1.268

一成真金體，不復重為礦。此頌喻聖人悟真空之後，不復再同凡夫見妄色也。然而如是我有試金石也，須重驗過。若見十分色，不設餘門矣。理事門中要成器用，數數入火又且何妨。

Once it becomes the substance of true gold,
It never returns to being ore.
This verse: A metaphor for the sage who, after awakening to true emptiness, no longer sees false form like ordinary beings. However, like this I have a touchstone, which must be tested again. If one sees full purity of color, no other approach is set up. Within the approach of principle and phenomenon, if one wants to fashion functional vessels, what harm is there in entering the fire again and again?
