一月在天，影分眾水。此頌上句局不礙通，下句通不礙局也。故十方自在，無非達士之妙用也。

The single moon is in the sky; / Its reflections divide across the myriad waters. This gāthā's first line shows restriction does not obstruct pervasion; the second line shows pervasion does not obstruct restriction. Therefore, being free in the ten directions is nothing other than the wondrous functioning of the accomplished person.
