因何二老呵呵笑？不是同風人不知。此頌斯二散聖，不住那邊、混跡今時，或笑或歌，左右逢源，別有深意。

Why do the two old men laugh ha-ha? / Those who do not share the same style do not know.
This verse [means that] these two dispersed sages do not abide on that other side, but mingle their traces in the present time; whether laughing or singing, finding the source at every turn, they have a separate, profound meaning.
