一念入多劫，一塵遍十方。此頌約時一念竪窮三際，約處一塵橫遍十方，一法望多同時之義在斯爾。

"A single thought enters many kalpas; / A single dust mote pervades the ten directions."
This verse means that, in terms of time, a single thought vertically fathoms the three times; in terms of space, a single dust mote horizontally pervades the ten directions. The meaning of the one phenomenon facing the many simultaneously lies precisely here.
