一點水墨，兩處分明。此頌理遍事而金作器，事遍理而器皆金。二門喻顯也。
A single drop of water and ink / Is distinct in both places. This verse praises principle pervading phenomena, as gold makes vessels; and phenomena pervading principle, as vessels are all gold. The two gates are revealed by metaphors.
