文云：將欲釋文，二門分別：一惣釋印意、二別解印相。問：何故依印？答：欲表釋迦如來教網所攝三種世間，從海印三昧繁出現現故。所謂三種世間，一器世間、二眾生世間、三智正覺世間。智正覺者，佛菩薩也。三種世間攝法盡故，不論餘者。廣義者，如《花嚴經》說。

The text states: Intending to explain the text, it is distinguished into two gates: first, a general explanation of the intent of the seal; second, a particular analysis of the characteristics of the seal. Question: Why rely on a seal? Answer: In order to represent the three worlds subsumed by Śākyamuni Tathāgata's net of teachings, richly emerging and appearing from the ocean seal samādhi. The so-called three worlds are: first, the vessel world; second, the sentient-being world; third, the world of direct and correct enlightenment. Direct and correct enlightenment refers to Buddhas and bodhisattvas. Because the three worlds completely subsume phenomena, nothing else is discussed. For the extensive meaning, it is as expounded in the Avataṃsaka Sūtra.
