法記云：七處八會及品類不同，而唯在〈地品〉。所以者何？以是根本得法盡故者。如悉曇章，一切諸字初章為本，如是世出世間一切諸法十地為本，故云攝法盡也。

Fa's Record states: The seven locations, eight assemblies, and various chapters are different, yet it resides solely in the "Chapter on the Grounds." Why is that? Because it is the root, exhausting the apprehension of phenomena. Just as in the Siddhaṃ syllabary, the first chapter is the root for all letters, so too the ten grounds are the root for all worldly and transmundane phenomena; hence it says that it exhausts the subsumption of phenomena.
