《心輪鈔》云：始成正覺佛入海印三昧，所證法門略有六重經：一者離內外經、二者向內經、三者向外經、四者內外相應經、五者內中略說經、六者為機將說經。所謂前三經是果分自利故果分別教，後三經是因分自利故因分別教。

The Commentary on the Mind-Wheel states: When the Buddha, having newly attained correct awakening, entered the ocean seal samādhi, the Dharma gates he realized comprise, in brief, six levels of sūtras: first, the sūtra free from inside and outside; second, the sūtra facing inward; third, the sūtra facing outward; fourth, the sūtra of inner and outer correspondence; fifth, the sūtra briefly spoken within; sixth, the sūtra about to be spoken for the sake of faculties. The first three sūtras are the self-benefit of the fruition aspect, and are therefore the distinct teaching of the fruition aspect; the latter three sūtras are the self-benefit of the causal aspect, and are therefore the distinct teaching of the causal aspect.
