2.39

大記云：第二問答問中證教兩法常在二邊過者，前云所詮之法言相不及，又云一切諸法皆悉在言故，牒其二言起此問也。答中先舉二義正答。所以得知者，重問。遍計無相下，重答也。

The Great Record states: In the question of the second question-and-answer, regarding the fault that the two dharmas of realization and teaching are constantly at the two extremes: previously it was said that the dharma that is expressed is not reached by words and marks, and it was also said that all dharmas are entirely within words; thus repeating these two statements gives rise to this question. In the answer, two meanings are first raised to directly reply. 'How is this known?' is a re-questioning. From 'imagined nature is without marks' downward is the re-answering.
