十句章釋第二句云：二隨文取義有五種過者（云云）。若聞凡名非聖等者，即有五過：一不正信、二退勇猛、三詐他、四謗佛、五輕法也。

The Shiju zhang, explaining the second phrase, says: 'Second, clinging to the meaning according to the letter has five kinds of faults (and so forth).' If one hears that the name 'ordinary being' is not 'noble' and so forth, there are five faults: first, incorrect faith; second, retrogressing from vigor; third, deceiving others; fourth, slandering the Buddha; and fifth, disparaging the Dharma.
