問：「《律》明三衣，因寒故制；《論》開五義，殊有大功。約事御時，不無乖各，如何通耶？」

Question: "The Vinaya explains that the three robes were instituted on account of the cold; the Śāstra sets forth five functions, which possess great efficacy. In practical application through changing seasons, there are bound to be differences. How are these harmonized?"
