二、養育人畜。律本中「大小持戒犍度」中云，沙門釋子不同餘外道廣畜人畜等（廣明制斷）。《僧祇》云，施僧奴婢及諸畜生，一切別人不得自受，為料理僧故，受已付僧。

Second: rearing humans and livestock. In the "Skandhaka on Major and Minor Precept Observance" in the root Vinaya, it states: "The śramaṇas, sons of the Śākya, are not like other tīrthikas who extensively keep humans, livestock, and the like" (it extensively clarifies the prohibition). The Mahāsāṃghika states: "When male and female slaves and various animals are donated to the saṅgha, no individual may receive them for personal use; to manage them for the saṅgha, upon receiving them they must be handed over to the saṅgha."
