五、外道之服（律本云，一切外道衣不得著。謂一切草衣皮衣樹皮衣葉衣鳥毛牛馬毛等衣。今亦有著紙衣者，此即是樹皮衣，亦有大德高望著青色千秋樹皮袈裟者，亦同外道衣也）。

Fifth, garments of tīrthikas. (The Vinaya root texts state that no garments of tīrthikas may be worn. This refers to all grass garments, leather/fur garments, bark garments, leaf garments, bird-feather and cattle- or horse-hair garments, and the like. Nowadays some also wear paper garments; these are bark garments. There are also venerable ones of high renown who wear bluish-green qianqiu bark kaṣāyas; these likewise are the same as garments of tīrthikas.)
