功用感通九（謂業假行成，功由心起，心懷染淨，業亦真虛。此由想見未清，善惡交集，不示緣報，迷滯難明。）

9. Functional Efficacy and Sympathetic Resonances (Meaning that karma is accomplished through practice, and efficacy arises from the mind; when the mind harbors defilement or purity, karma is likewise real or false. Because conceptions and views are not yet clear, and good and evil are intertwined, if conditions and retribution are not revealed, delusion and stagnation will be difficult to clarify.)
