故《處胎經》云：「佛告彌勒偈曰：『汝所三會人，是吾先所化，九十六億人，受我五戒者。次是三歸人，九十二億者，一稱南無佛。』」

Thus the Chu Tai Jing states: 'The Buddha told Maitreya in a verse: "The people at your three assemblies / are those I previously transformed: / ninety-six hundred million people / who received my five precepts; / next are those of the three refuges, / ninety-two hundred million, / who once called out 'Namo Buddhāya'."'
