又問余云：「今見比丘行者以坐具置左肩上，情有不忍。何者？坐具資下之具，如何忽在上肩？又衣角多在左手，今則如何在左肩上？弟子俗人，未廣知律，師可說之，樂聞斯要。」

He also asked me, saying: "Now seeing walking monks placing their sitting mats on their left shoulders, in my heart I cannot bear it. Why? The sitting mat is an article for the lower body; how can it suddenly be placed on the upper shoulder? Moreover, the corners of the robe are mostly in the left hand; how are they now on the left shoulder? As a disciple and layperson, I do not know the Vinaya extensively. Master, please explain it; I would gladly hear its essentials."
