余問：「還債之業，誠是可嘉，然彼殺噉，無不由惑。惑是貪、嗔、癡。貪癡之惑，結在惡道，如何諸神故縱造耶？」

I asked: "The karma of repaying debts is indeed commendable, yet their killing and eating them arises entirely from delusion. Delusion consists of greed, anger, and ignorance. The delusion of greed and ignorance binds one to the evil realms; why do the spirits intentionally indulge them in creating it?"
