答：「實也，今東寺見有驢臺存矣。後人崇敬其處，於上植樹，周砌石池，蓮華莊嚴供養。此印手菩薩不思議之跡也。又一本云：『乘驢事，虛也。』」

He replied: “It is true. Today in the Eastern Monastery, the Donkey Terrace still survives. Later generations revered that site, planting trees atop it and building stone ponds all around, adorning it with lotuses for offerings. This was an inconceivable trace of Bodhisattva Seal-in-Hand. Another text says: ‘The matter of riding the donkey is false.’”
