又小巷北有一大院，凡夫禪思之院。南門向巷，修十一切入者之所止住。內有石磬，迦樓羅神所施，拘樓秦佛時物，石如青玉而非真寶，形如鈴舌，聲聞二十里。

North of the small lane there is another large courtyard, the Courtyard for the Meditation of Ordinary Beings. Its south gate faces the lane; it is the residence for those cultivating the ten totalities. Inside is a stone chime, donated by a garuḍa deity, an object from the time of Krakucchanda Buddha. The stone resembles green jade but is not a genuine gem; it is shaped like the tongue of a bell, and its sound can be heard for twenty li.
