《法苑珠林．第五十二》曰：「依宣律師《祇洹寺感通記》云，經律大明祇洹寺之基趾，多云八十頃地，一百二十院。準約東西近有十里，南北七百餘步（云云）。又〈鳴鐘部〉（云云）。又〈說法部〉（云云）。」

Fayuan zhulin, Fascicle 52, says: 'According to Vinaya Master Daoxuan's Qihuan si gantong ji, the sutras and vinayas clearly explain the foundation of Jetavana Monastery, mostly saying it was eighty qing of land and one hundred and twenty courtyards. In estimation, it was nearly ten li from east to west and over seven hundred paces from south to north (and so forth). Also the section "Striking the Bell" (and so forth). Also the section "Expounding the Dharma" (and so forth).'
