Outside the Sangha Courtyard, on three sides are wide alleys, unobstructed throughout, with gates opening on both sides. The southern side connects to the central avenue. The three gates open wide, with two channels running parallel, also planted with rare trees whose interlocking shade joins together. East and west of the two gates are each courtyard alleys, enclosed on four sides by walls, each with covered walkways running around, not connecting with one another.
