「水流不常滿，火猛不久然，日出須臾沒，月滿已復虧。尊榮豪貴者，無常復過是，念當勤精進，頂禮無上尊。」

“Flowing water does not remain forever full, / fierce fire does not burn for long, / the rising sun sets in an instant, / the full moon wanes once more. / Those of honor, glory, prominence, and wealth / are subject to an impermanence surpassing even this; / one should be mindful and diligently strive, / prostrating with one's head to the Unexcelled Honored One.”
