Furthermore, may the assembly sharing this karmic endeavor in the bodhimaṇḍa today, extending broadly to all sentient beings of the four modes of birth and six destinies throughout the ten directions, from this day forth until bodhi: may their tongues constantly not taste the flavor of injuring and slaughtering the bodies of any sentient beings; not taste the flavor of anything that died of itself; not taste the flavor of the blood and marrow of living creatures; not taste the flavor of poison from adversaries or enemies; not taste the flavor of any savory food that gives rise to greedy attachment and afflictions. May their tongues constantly taste the hundred kinds of delicious flavors of amṛta; constantly taste the flavors of spontaneous food and drink; constantly taste the flavor of the fragrant rice of Gandhavyūha; constantly taste the flavor eaten by all Buddhas; constantly taste the food flavors manifested and perfumed by the precepts, concentration, and wisdom of the Dharmakāya; constantly taste the flavor of the joy of Dharma and delight of dhyāna; constantly taste the sweet and harmonious flavor of immeasurable merit nourishing the wisdom-life; constantly taste the equal flavor of the single taste of liberation; constantly taste the supreme and most marvelous flavor of the ultimate bliss of nirvāṇa of all Buddhas. Having completed the vows regarding the tongue faculty, let us together with utmost sincerity cast the five limbs to the ground and take refuge in the Great Compassionate Father of the World.
