4.19

Today, assembly sharing this karmic endeavor in the bodhimaṇḍa! Having heard the Buddha, the Bhagavat, expound the various sufferings above, we ought all the more to collect our minds and not give rise to heedlessness. If together we are not once again diligent in skillful means and practicing the bodhisattva path, then in each and every hell we will have a share of guilt. Today, equally on behalf of all sentient beings presently enduring the sufferings of the Avīci Hell and the like, all sentient beings who will endure the sufferings of the Avīci Hell and the like, and broadly extending to all sentient beings, infinite and inexhaustible, presently enduring and destined to endure [suffering in] all the hells throughout the ten directions, with identical acute sorrow, let us throw our five limbs to the ground, taking refuge in the Great Compassionate Father of the world:
