May [the Three Jewels], by the power of compassion and loving-kindness, rescue, protect, and embrace the sentient beings presently enduring suffering in the hells of Drinking Molten Copper and the like: may all their karmic hindrances be entirely eliminated; may all their manifold sufferings be completely liberated; from this day forth, may they ultimately never fall into hell again; renouncing birth in hell, may they attain birth in the pure lands; renouncing life in hell, may they attain a life of wisdom. May the four immeasurable minds and the six pāramitās constantly become manifest; may the four unhindered eloquences and the six supernatural powers be sovereign at their will; leaving the path of hell, may they attain the path of nirvāṇa; and equally with the Tathāgatas, may they together realize samyaksambodhi.
