2.30

今呪此因緣，即是呪於三道而論懺悔。事懺，懺苦道、業道；理懺，懺煩惱道。文云：「犯沙彌戒，乃至大比丘戒，若不還生，無有是處。」即懺業道文也。「眼耳諸根清淨」，即懺苦道文也。「第七日見十方佛，聞法得不退轉」，即懺煩惱道文也。三障去，即十二因緣樹壞，亦是五陰舍空。思惟實相，正破於此，故名「諸佛實法懺悔」也。

Now, chanting over these causal conditions is chanting over the three paths to expound repentance. Phenomenal repentance repents the path of suffering and the path of karma; noumenal repentance repents the path of afflictions. The text states: 'If one violates the śrāmaṇera precepts up to the great bhikṣu precepts, if [the precepts] are not restored, that is impossible.' This is the text for repenting the path of karma. 'The eye, ear, and all faculties become pure' is the text for repenting the path of suffering. 'On the seventh day, one sees the Buddhas of the ten directions, hears the Dharma, and attains non-retrogression' is the text for repenting the path of afflictions. When the three obstructions are removed, the tree of the twelve links of conditioned arising is destroyed, and the house of the five aggregates is emptied. Contemplating true reality directly shatters these; hence it is called 'the repentance through the real Dharma of all Buddhas'.
