Being able to contemplate in this way, the seven factors of body and speech become as pure as empty space: this is holding the three kinds of vinaya precepts of non-deficiency, non-breakage, and non-perforation. Shattering all evil thoughts and reflections of the four movements: this is holding the unmixed precepts. Not being distracted by the four movements: this is holding the precepts concurrent with concentration. The mind of the four movements not arising: this is holding the precepts concurrent with the Path. Discerning the various four movements without hindrance: this is holding the unattached precepts. Discerning the four movements without error: this is holding the precepts praised by the wise. Knowing that the four movements gather all dharmas: this is holding the sovereign precepts of the Mahāyāna. Recognizing the four virtues of the four movements: this is holding the ultimate precepts (second).
