3.227

若約五味教論興廢者，華嚴為大行人，廢兩權，興一權一實；三藏廢兩權一實，但興一權；方等四種俱興；般若廢一權，興兩權一實；法華廢三權，興一實；涅槃還興四種，皆入佛性，無所可隔。

If we discuss instituting and abolishing according to the teachings of the five flavors: for great practitioners, the Avataṃsaka abolishes two provisionals and institutes one provisional and one real; the Tripiṭaka abolishes two provisionals and one real, instituting only one provisional; the Vaipulya institutes all four kinds together; the Prajñā abolishes one provisional and institutes two provisionals and one real; the Lotus abolishes the three provisionals and institutes the one real; the Nirvāṇa once again institutes all four kinds, all entering the Buddha-nature with nothing excluded.
