如是報者，酬因曰「報」。習因、習果通名為「因」，牽後世報，此報酬於因也。
Regarding "suchness of retribution": recompensing a cause is called "retribution". Habitual causes and habitual effects are collectively termed "causes", which draw forth retribution in future lives; this recompenses the cause.
