As for the brief: if a single thought-moment arises, among the simple four views it must be one view; a view is precisely the three provisionalities, deceptive and lacking reality. The eighty-eight proclivities are vast, as explained previously. The manifestation of all evils is fully as explained later. One should fundamentally comprehend that the floating shimmer relies on the mirage, the mirage relies on space, and space has nothing upon which it relies. If even space has no emptiness, where could there still be a mirage or a floating shimmer? Moreover, it is like the hundreds of thousands of sorrows and joys in a dream: origin and end are both quiescent and ultimately pure; this is called "calming".
