5.88

一、觀心是不可思議境者，此境難說，先明思議境，令不思議境易顯。思議法者，小乘亦說心生一切法，謂六道因果、三界輪環。若去凡欣聖，則棄下上出，灰身滅智，乃是有作四諦，蓋思議法也。大乘亦明心生一切法，謂十法界也。

1. As for contemplating the mind as the inconceivable realm: this realm is difficult to explain, so we first clarify the conceivable realm to make the inconceivable realm easily apparent. As for conceivable dharmas: the Hinayana also explains that the mind generates all dharmas, meaning the causes and effects of the six destinies and the transmigration of the three realms. If one sheds the mundane and rejoices in the noble, then abandoning the lower and ascending to the higher, turning the body to ash and extinguishing wisdom, these are the four noble truths with intentional activity, which are conceivable dharmas. The Mahāyāna also clarifies that the mind generates all dharmas, meaning the ten dharmadhātus.
