6.17

若五那含天，更練四禪，用無漏夾熏有漏，色定轉明，果報轉勝。勝定起時，亦有愛、慢、癡九品三假之惑。用四觀體達無礙解脫，成事理無生。若未去，更修相續、相待亦如是。餘八品，亦如是。癡、慢，亦如是。色界四九三十六品不生竟。

As for the five anāgāmin heavens, one further refines the fourth dhyāna, using the unpolluted to sandwich and perfume the polluted, so that form concentration becomes ever clearer and the karmic retribution becomes ever more superior. When the superior concentration arises, the delusions of the nine grades and three provisionalities of attachment, arrogance, and delusion are also present. Using the four contemplations to directly realize unobstructed liberation, non-arising of phenomenal activity and principle is accomplished. If they are not yet removed, one further cultivates [contemplation of] continuity and relativity in the same way. The remaining eight grades are likewise treated, and so are arrogance and delusion. The non-arising of the four times nine—thirty-six grades—of the form realm is concluded.
