What is the gate of neither existence nor non-existence? One contemplates the illusory [delusions of] view and thought as being themselves dharmatā. Dharmatā is inconceivable: not being worldly, it is not existent; not being supramundane, it is not non-existent. A single color and a single scent are nothing other than the middle way; when one is middle, all are middle. Vairocana pervades all places—how could there be view and thought that are not true reality? This is called the gate of neither existence nor non-existence.
