As explained above, breaking [delusions of] view and thought by relying on the gate of non-arising is itself the gate of emptiness. One gate is all gates; it is not non-arising alone. One breaking is all breaking; it does not stop at breaking view and thought alone. Entering emptiness from the provisional, when one is empty, all are empty; it is not merely emptying the emptiness of birth and death. Such a meaning is the four gates of the perfect teaching, and is precisely what is used now.
