通教二乘真、似之位，智異三藏，斷位不殊。若菩薩位，條然不同。簡名義通、別，如《法華玄》（云云）。

The stages of the real and resemblance for the two vehicles in the shared teaching differ in wisdom from the Tripiṭaka, but their stages of severing do not differ. As for the bodhisattva's stages, they are distinctly different. The differentiation of names and meanings as shared or distinctive is as in the Xuanlan of the Lotus Sūtra (and so on).
