7.187

今人祇謂捨惡取空是大乘，此空尚不免六十二見單、複之惡，何得動出為乘？設借為乘，祇一禿乘，無法門具度。正法大城，金剛寶藏，具足無缺，何所而無？豈容禿空而已？若但爾者，乘邪見乘，入險惡道，是壞驢車耳（云云）。

People nowadays merely say that abandoning evil and grasping emptiness is the Great Vehicle; but this emptiness has not even avoided the evils of the simple and compound sixty-two views, so how could it propel one out [of saṃsāra] as a vehicle? Even if borrowed as a vehicle, it is merely a bare, defective vehicle, lacking the completeness of the Dharma gates. The great citadel of the correct Dharma and the vajra jewel treasury are fully complete without lack: what could they fail to contain? How could they allow mere barren emptiness? If it were only like that, one would be riding the vehicle of wrong views into perilous and evil paths: it would be nothing more than a broken-down donkey cart (and so forth).
