今明魔為五：一、分別同異，二、明發相，三、明妨損，四、明治法，五、修止觀。

Now, explaining māra comprises five points: first, distinguishing sameness and difference; second, clarifying marks of arousal; third, clarifying impediments and harms; fourth, clarifying methods of treatment; fifth, cultivating calming and contemplation.
