若各立出入兩根本八句者，即成四十句。若合根本為四句者，即成三十六句。

If one separately establishes the two sets of fundamental eight propositions for emerging and entering, there are then forty propositions. If one combines the fundamental ones into four propositions, there are then thirty-six propositions.
