The mind experiencing joy matches the factor of joy. Joy in the former was concealed, defiled, and tasted; joy here is unconcealed, undefiled, and untasted—it is indeed "Dharma joy" and not [mere] "experienced joy." The mind experiencing pleasure is also like this: it is not the pleasure of "experienced pleasure"; knowing that within pleasure all three feelings are devoid of pleasure, it is named the factor of pleasure. Experiencing all mental formations is the factor of one-pointedness of mind. Knowing that the multitude of minds is a single mind, it is not like the fundamental where one grasps at a real single mind. Matched against the factors of the path, these all belong to the smṛtyupasthāna of feeling.
